Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will find out their group-stage opponents on Thursday when FIFA conducts the official draw for the U20 World Cup.

The team secured qualification for the tournament after reaching the semi-finals of the recently concluded Africa U20 Cup of Nations held in Egypt.

Alongside Nigeria, Morocco, Egypt, and eventual champions South Africa also earned their spots in the global competition.

The draw is scheduled to take place in Santiago, the capital of Chile.

The Flying Eagles have twice reached the final of the U20 World Cup — in 1989 and 2005 — and will be aiming to go one step further this time around.
